Dominion Offers 10 Percent Off to Nicor Gas Residential Customers

RICHMOND, Va., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Dominion Retail, a subsidiary of Dominion, one of the nation's largest energy producers, is offering residential customers in the Nicor Gas service area 10 percent off their natural gas price.
Dominion Retail is an alternative natural gas supplier certified by the Illinois Commerce Commission. Dominion Retail has been selling natural gas to Nicor Gas customers since 2003, and is a part of the Dominion system which provides energy to 20 million people in 20 states.
Nicor Gas customers who enroll in the program will receive 10 percent off their natural gas price through October 31, 2007, even if Nicor's gas price changes. There is no cancellation fee. Customers will still receive one bill from Nicor, and Nicor will still continue to deliver the natural gas, read meters, provide service and respond to emergencies.
Customers can enroll by returning a reply card from an offer currently being mailed in the area. Or they can call the Dominion Retail customer care center at 1-866-535-9520, or enroll online at http://retail.dom.com/.
Dominion Retail markets energy and related products and services in 11 states, and currently has more than 1.6 million customer contracts.
