India plans to ease rules on private airlines flying overseas, a move that will benefit carriers like Kingfisher Airlines, Bloomberg News reported from Paris.
The government will outline its new rules in a few months, Praful Patel, the country’s civil aviation minister, said. Indian private airlines are currently required to have five years of local flying experience before they are permitted to fly overseas.
