Methode Network Bus Products, a business unit of Methode Electronics, Inc., has launched its new website at www.methodenetworkbus.com. The new site features extensive information on Network Bus Products' bus bars and custom power distribution solutions.
The new website features easy-to-use tools for engineers and developers of power systems. These include details on a variety of power distribution solutions for applications in a wide range of industries. Bus Bar solutions have been developed to offer ease of installation, low inductance, improved performance, and high reliability in equipment operating in the aerospace, computer, industrial, medical, military, power conversion, telecommunications, and transportation industries.
A design guide on the site offers formulas, calculations, performance, impedance and bus bar characteristics to assist designers in the development of solutions for their power distribution needs. The site also allows customers the ability to facilitate the exchange necessary to move a project quickly from concept, to quote, to manufacture and delivery. The site includes quote request forms with drop-down menus that allow potential customers to enter details on their specific project and submit them for review by Network Bus engineers. Chris Ogden, General Manager of Network Bus Products states, "We expect these new features to enhance our ability to quickly respond to customers with a detailed quote, thereby bringing their concept those few steps closer to becoming a reality for their application." The quote forms currently posted are for application specific power distribution solutions -- including laminated and machined bus bars and powder coating capabilities, and for the PowerRailTM -- Methode's own innovative standardized cable interconnect and rail power distribution system.
The website will be updated regularly with the latest news, product information, trade show appearances, and technical papers as they become available from Network Bus Products.
