Jun. 27–The Dog House, a local kennel and pet store has raised $3,300 to purchase 55 pet oxygen mask kits for every fire station in the Treasure Valley.

Richard Vanez, co-owner of The Dog House, said fundraising has gone so well that the store hopes to eventually supply the entire state.

The 20 kits the Boise Fire Department received last week will equip each of the department’s engines and ladder trucks, ensuring there are a couple at each fire scene, Hanneman said.
