I-394, I-94 Lane Closures Beginning Monday

Jul. 6–Both directions of Interstate 394 will be reduced to one lane between Interstate 94 and 12th Street in downtown Minneapolis beginning at 9 a.m. Monday. The left lanes of eastbound and westbound I-94 will also close north of the Lowry Hill Tunnel to south of Minnesota 55.

The lane closures will be in place through 6 a.m. July 16.

The closures are necessary for bridge work, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.

The MnPass reversible section will remain open on weekdays during the construction but the section will not be open the weekend of July 14-15.
