Emirates Airline launches service to Venice

ABU DHABI, July 1 (Xinhua) — The Dubai-based Emirates Airline launches its first flight to Italy’s Venice on Sunday, Emirates News Agency reported.

The launch of service to Venice increases the number of Emirates Airline’s destinations in Europe to 22, according to the report.

The airline provides five non-stop flights to Venice a week at present, and is scheduled to make the flights daily from Sep. 1.

Established in 1985 by the Dubai government, Emirates Airline is the second largest and most profitable Arab carrier.

It has a fleet of 105 aircraft flying to more than 90 cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Oceania and North America.
