Snow Patrol Keyboarder Arrested in Glasgow

Snow Patrol keyboardist Tom Simpson was arrested for allegedly failing to appear in court in Scotland, but was still expected to play with the band Sunday.

Strathclyde Police reported a 35-year-old man, now identified as Simpson, was transferred to their custody from the Uxbridge Police Station and later released.

Snow Patrol was set to perform Sunday as the closing act at T in the Park music festival in Balado, Scotland, the BBC reported.

Meanwhile, singer Amy Winehouse pulled out of the event, suffering from exhaustion, before the Simpson situation became known, said the BBC.

We just hope she can take a bit of rest and get back to her best, event organizer Geoff Ellis said.

The report did not specify the reason for the court appearance Simpson failed to attend.
