Enterprise Subsidiary to Conduct Open Season for Natural Gas Capacity at Petal Storage Facility

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) today announced that its Petal Gas Storage, LLC (Petal) subsidiary will hold a non-binding open season in order to seek shipper support for up to 5 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of firm natural gas storage capacity at its facility in Petal, Mississippi. The capacity, which will be created through construction of a new underground salt cavern, is projected to be in-service in the second quarter of 2010.
With access to several major interstate pipeline systems, Petal offers shippers the flexibility to reach key markets in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic through bi-directional interconnects to Tennessee Gas Pipeline, Gulf South Pipeline, and Hattiesburg Gas Storage. It also features bi-directional interconnects to Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line, Southern Natural Gas and Destin Pipeline via the Petal Pipeline. Enterprise expects that Petal will also provide future interconnects with the Southeast Supply Header and Gulf Crossing pipeline systems.
The open season will begin at 9 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, and concludes Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at 5 p.m. CDT. Customers interested in bidding on the available capacity may contact Paul Tate at 713-381-8077 or ptate@eprod.com.
