URS Selected to Provide Program Management Services at Mineta San Jose International Airport

URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced it has been awarded a contract by the City of San Jose, California, to provide program management services for the $1.5 billion in new capital improvement projects at Mineta San Jose International Airport. The four-year agreement has a maximum value of $15 million to URS.
Under the terms of the contract, URS will provide program management services for the Terminal Area Improvement Program that includes remodeling and expanding Terminal A, the construction of a new Terminal B, and a new Consolidated Rental Car facility and public parking garage.
For nearly four decades, URS has been providing professional services to Mineta San Jose International Airport. In recent years, the Company has been providing design services for the North Concourse project, which has included work on the roadways, baggage handling system and the bicycle/pedestrian plan.
