By Gita Sitaramiah, Pioneer Press, St. Paul, Minn. Aug. 3--General Mills is eliminating 95 jobs -- or about 20 percent of the total -- at its Chanhassen plant that makes frozen products for retail bakeries and food services.

Southern California Edison (SCE) is warning its customers about increased activity by scam artists impersonating SCE employees, including several attempts by impostors threatening service disconnections if a payment is not made quickly by unusual means such as Western Union or a cash card.

However, the English Dialect Dictionary, says 'Gallithumpians' is a Dorset and Devon word from the 1790s that refers to 'a society of radical social reformers' or 'noisy disturbers of elections and meetings.'
