By Stephen Franklin, Chicago Tribune Apr. 1--Vowing tougher bargaining with United Airlines, Teamsters union officials and supporters Monday hailed their heated election victory in winning over United's mechanics from the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association.

GE Energy Financial Services, a unit of GE (NYSE: GE), announced today it has formed a partnership with a Union Gas Corporation subsidiary and related investors to acquire oil and gas reserves from two fields in East Texas and the Texas Gulf Coast for $115 million.

RTI International Metals, Inc., (NYSE: RTI) announced today the opening of their new global headquarters in Pittsburgh. Executive officers, as well as corporate and commercial staff, have officially moved into the new location.

Bay Gas Storage brought its third underground natural gas storage cavern in service today. The new cavern increases total working gas capacity by 5.4 billion cubic feet (Bcf), bringing total working gas capacity to 11.4 Bcf at the McIntosh, Alabama facility.
