Lifestyle Lifts Awarded NSW Government Tender

August 16, 2012

Lifestyle Lifts, an Australian company specialising in disability lifts for residential and commercial environments, today announced their selection by the government of New South Wales to install platform lifts in schools and government departments across the state.

Sydney, NSW (PRWEB) August 16, 2012

The term of the agreement between the NSW Government Department of Public Works and Lifestyle Lifts is three years plus an option for an additional 2 years. The contract establishes Lifestyle Lifts as the preferred supplier of disabled access lifts to schools and other selected government departments throughout New South Wales.

“Lifestyle Lifts are thrilled to be able to play a central role in improving the accessibility of New South Wales´ schools and government buildings,” said Lifestyle Lifts´ Director Chris Couper. “The installation of these lifts will allow disabled and mobility impaired citizens to enjoy dramatically improved education and employment opportunities and will remove physical barriers to interaction with government representatives.”

These lifts provide unfettered access to education facilities, public buildings, heritage buildings, retail premises and outdoor facilities and enable building owners and authorities to meet the requirements outlined in the newly amended Access to Premises Code (Australian Disability Standards 2010).
