February 26, 2013

Aspen Massage Institute is pioneering a Massage Certification Program allowing individuals to enter a new career in therapeutic massage with convenient scheduling and affordable tuition.

Aspen, Colorado (PRWEB) February 26, 2013

Aspen Massage Institute (AMI) announces an advanced Massage Therapist Certification Program specifically designed to satisfy the needs of non-traditional students and exceed national standards. Located in the resort community of Aspen CO, AMI is seeing great interest from individuals seeking a career in massage therapy.

“We quickly realized there are many people that would love to take a 500 hour massage certification program but were unable either due to cost or scheduling. We found the need to cater our certification training around the schedules of people who have real lives and real jobs, but want something better,” commented Jean-Robert Barbette, School Director.

The AMI program succeeds in presenting a pathway for both students who have always desired a massage therapy career and for those who are searching for an occupational change. The program starts April 1, 2013 and runs for 31 weeks. Classes are Monday — Thursday, 6:00 – 9:30 PM making it a convenient option for those with regular employment.

The program boasts experienced and licensed instructors permitting a low student to instructor ratio. Classes cover a wide variety of therapeutic massage techniques including Swedish massage, Reflexology, Sports massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. “Our curriculum is specifically designed to accentuate the best in Eastern and Western approaches to health, enabling our graduates to be successful regardless of the professional setting,” stated Amy Smith, B.A., RMT, NCTMB, RYT, AMI Instructor. Students will also complete 91 hours of weekend clinical internship in the resort paradise of Aspen, CO.

AMI is the only massage institute in the Aspen, CO offering incoming students plenty of resources for daytime employment and providing access to the healthy outdoor lifestyle of the area. “We´ve structured our program to be affordable with multiple payment options. We want to give people the opportunity to fulfill their dreams while enjoying the benefits of living in the beautiful mountains of Aspen,” added Jean-Robert Barbette.

About Aspen Massage Institute AMI is the premiere Massage Certification Training Center in the Colorado Rockies offering an innovative approach to education and student development. AMI is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and is backed by a certificate of approval by the Colorado Department of Higher Education.
