Three-day Festival of Hands-on Learning for Physical Therapists Set for May at University of Colorado Denver

Evidence In Motion (EIM), a physical therapy education and consultation company, has opened registration for the 5th Annual Manipalooza. The three-day festival of hands-on learning in manipulation, soft tissue techniques, pain management strategies, sports PT, and practice management for physical therapists is scheduled for May 17-19, 2014 at the University of Colorado Denver.
Faculty and topics are still being finalized but will include presentations from Andrew Bennett, PT, DPT, Larry Benz, PT, DPT, David Browder, DPT, OCS, Tim Fearon, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, Tim Flynn, PT, PhD, Paul Mintken, PT, DPT, Teresa Scheumann, PT, DPT, SCS, ATC, Daphne Scott, PT, DSc, Casey Unverzagt, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, CSCS, Mike Walker, PT, DSc, Rob Wainner, PT, PhD, Julie Whitman, PT, DSc, OCS, FAAOMPT. Presentation topics will cover a range of topics including Manipulative Interventions for the Cervical Spine and Ribcage, Advanced Exercises as an Adjunct to Manual Therapy, Management of Temporomandibular Dysfunction, Manual Therapy of the Knee, Ankle and Foot Regions, Neuromuscular Interventions for Chronic Ankle Instability and Evaluation of Athletic Movement: The ACL.
The three-day festival makes learning interactive, musically facilitated, and fun! Held at the Anschutz Medical Campus at the University of Colorado Denver, Manipalooza consistently receives superb feedback from participants who benefit from the hands-on approach. Those unable to attend the full three-day event are encouraged to register for the festivities on Saturday, May 29, 2014. Participants will get to choose from a variety of Orthopaedic, Sports and Business topics.
