Osher Scholarships Available to Students
ELLSWORTH – The Hancock County Higher Education Center announces the availability of Osher Scholarships for the spring 2008 semester.
The University of Maine System’s Osher Scholarships are given to first-time students, and are available first come, first served. An Osher Scholarship covers the cost of a university course, including books and required materials, up to $750.
To qualify, a student must be a Maine resident, a high school graduate or GED recipient, and committed to successfully completing a college course.
