Darrell J. Davis Named Assistant Dean of Student and Multicultural Affairs at Hamline University School of Law

ST. PAUL, Minn., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Hamline University School of Law today announced that Darrell J. Davis has joined the St. Paul-based law school as assistant dean of student and multicultural affairs. He is responsible for all matters involving student life at Hamline law school, as well as retention and supporting Hamline's commitment to enhancement of inclusive excellence in the law school.

Davis has been a practicing corporate attorney for 25 years. He was corporate attorney director at Graco, Inc., from 1992-2007. Earlier, he served as senior attorney and managed litigation at Honeywell, Inc. in Minneapolis. Davis worked as special assistant attorney general for the state of Minnesota from 1981-1986. He also has served as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law. Davis earned a juris doctorate from the University of Minnesota School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the American Corporate Counsel Association-Minnesota chapter, the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Black Lawyers Association, and the Minnesota State Bar Association
