PEMBROKE – Financial Advisory Associates of Buzzards Bay will present a draft to the school committee next month of its study on Pembroke’s population.

The school committee hired the company in November to evaluate the projected population and come up with long-term solutions for enrollment.

Superintendent Frank Hackett said he met a few weeks ago with Financial Advisory Associates and other school employees. The company is also working with town officials.

“They have a lot of our data already,” Hackett said at a school committee meeting this past week. “They’re going to be able to give us data beyond 10 years.”

Last year, the school committee moved the kindergarten at the overcrowded Hobomock Elementary School to the Bryantville Elementary School to free up classroom space. The move came after a parent- faculty group spent eight months researching enrollment.

Those numbers are now outdated, school officials said.
