t Dyan Snavely was named to the president’s honor list for her 4.0 grade-point average during her fifth term at The Art Institute of York, where she is majoring in graphic design.

A 2006 graduate of Hempfield High School, she is the daughter of Roy and Dawn Snavely of Mount Joy.

Four area students in Alvernia College degree programs offered at Harrisburg Area Community College were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester.

They are: Wendy Colyer of Palmyra, a behavioral health studies major; Megan Moore of Palmyra, a criminal justice major; John Porzio of Leola, a criminal justice major; and Crystal Spotts of Manheim, a behavioral health studies major.

Andrew R. O’Neill was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at West Virginia University, where he is a sophomore majoring in business/economics and accounting.

A 2006 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, he is the son of Tom and Claudia O’Neill of Leola.

Thomas E. O’Neill was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Harrisburg Area Community College, where he is majoring in mechanical engineering technology.

A 2004 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, he is the son of Tom and Claudia O’Neill of Leola.

Courtney Anne Mimidis was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Temple University, where she is a junior majoring in mass media/journalism.

A 2005 graduate of Manheim Township High School, she is the daughter of Paul and Cassandra Mimidis.

Five area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Misericordia University. They are: Lisa Holdsworth of Columbia, Alicia Lowe of Lancaster, Molly Sullivan of Gap, Megan Vascellaro of Lancaster and Courtney Weisser of Columbia.

Alysha Christian was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at High Point University, High Point, N.C., where she is majoring in elementary education/special education.

A 2007 graduate of Donegal High School, she is the daughter of David and Sandra Christian of Mount Joy.

Brooke Mastromatteo was named to the dean’s list for fall 2007, where she is dual majoring in film and English at Temple University.

A 2005 graduate of Manheim Township High School, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Mastromatteo of Manheim Township.

Elisabeth Malloy of Lincoln University was named to the president’s list for the fall semester at Cecil College in North East, Md., where she is a full-time student.

Six part-time students from the area were named to the president’s list for the fall semester at Cecil College in North East, Md. They are Carol Witmer of Holtwood, Thomas Pate of Oxford, Kimberly Crossan of Lincoln University, Damaris Villafane of West Grove, Carol Henson of Oxford and Laurel Robinson of West Grove.

Three full-time students from the area were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Cecil College Cecil College in North East, Md. They are Kelsey Rees of Oxford, Michelle Arnold of Kirkwood, and Laura Styles of West Grove.

Three part-time students from the area were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Cecil College in Cecil College in North East, Md. They are David Hardison of West Grove, Adrienne Wharry of Avondale and Tina Harris of Lincoln University.

t Jessica Noll of Lancaster graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville, Tenn., Dec. 14, with a bachelor of science degree in information technology with a minor in specialized computing.

A 2003 graduate of Penn Manor High School, she is the daughter of Gary Noll of Lancaster and Juanita Gantt of Camp Hill.

Tania Joan Swayne of Gap graduated magna cum laude from York College on Dec. 19 with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.

A graduate of Solanco High School, she is the daughter of Mike and Donita Swayne.

Dawn Fortna of Ephrata received a master of science in education degree with a concentration in health care education through the Graduate and Professional Studies division of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, which offers distance education programs for working adults.

Megan E Bechtold of Elizabethtown passed the Certified Medical Assistation certification/recertificaiton examination for medical assistants on Oct. 26, 2007, thereby earning the certified medical assistant credential.

A graduate of YTI Career Institute in Landisville, she is the daughter of Susan Bechtold.
