Games, presents, pizza and Santa, too. The students of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Catholic School continued a tradition of service and celebration they began last year by traveling to Little Flower Jubilee School to throw a Christmas party.

“I feel blessed that our school spent time brightening the day of the students at Little Flower,” said OLPH eighth -grader Andrew Faquin. “It was a very good field trip.”

For months the OLPH students had collected gifts and planned the event. Games by the fifth grade, crafts by the seventh grade, entertainment by the eighth grade and goodie bags by the sixth grade all came together to thrill the students of Little Flower.

The party was coordinated by OLPH School Religion coordinator Michelle McDonald, Little Flower Principal Sister Lynn Marie Ralph and OLPH Assistant Principal Lynn Lifsey.

“We hope that with the assistance of our great teachers and parents, that this Little Flower event will happen every year,” said Patricia Wyckoff, OLPH Principal. “This project of faithful service is truly a gift for our OLPH students. We appreciate the opportunity for our students to come to know the joy of being the hands of God within their daily lives.”

Little Flower serves students in PreK4 through second grade. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Elementary Schools serves students in grades PreK2-8.
