Tour of Seekonk High School is Scheduled for Monday

SEEKONK – The School Department is inviting the public to join the School Committee and the Board of Selectmen on a tour Monday of Seekonk High School.
Schools Supt. Emile Chevrette said the tour will focus on the school district’s proposed capital improvements at the school, which include replacing the old chicken coops, now used as a storage shed; improving the running track, concession stands and bathrooms; installing a new bacteria-removal system for the swimming pool area and cleaning the rusted ceiling; and updating classrooms.
The tour will start at 2 p.m. Attendees should meet behind the high school.
