Brighton Salutes Year of Achievements

The Honors Night is one of several events that Brighton seniors attended as they prepare for graduation on May 15. After months of school and extracurricular activities students from all grades recently gathered at Brighton High School to celebrate their accomplishments.

Students were recognized in 20 different categories of accomplishments, including being First Tennessee Academic All-Stars and having perfect attendance for all four years of high school.

The Lawrence Saunders Jr. Memorial Scholarship was one of several scholarships given out during the night.

The scholarship, which was set up this school year, is given to a graduating senior from BHS who chooses to major in English in college.
