Better Prospects With INTI’s MBA

June 15, 2008

WITH more than 20 years of experience in the education industry, INTI International University College (INTI-UC) is now offering its own Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme.

The MBA programme is a specially designed post-graduate degree that gives valuable knowledge about business management.

It is suitable for people who are seeking better career opportunities and promotional prospects.

The programme also offers real-life business consultancy projects through the Inti Business Advisory Group, a student/faculty-staffed consulting centre that provides opportunities for students to gain consultation skills and real work experience.

Students who have successfully completed the programme will receive a dual award, namely an INTI-UC MBA award and a MA in Management Studies award by the University of Hertfordshire, UK, however, subject to validation approval.

The MBA programme provides students with job opportunities in one or more of the following functional areas of interest namely: finance, human resource, international management, marketing, organizational analysis and quantitative analysis/management science.

It is offered on full-time and part-time basis.

The full-time MBA offers an accelerated learning process that prepares students for a successful professional life.

The part-time MBA is specially intended for the convenience of working adults.

INTI-UC also offers programmes at diploma, bachelor and master degree levels.

These include South Australian Matriculation (SAM), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), American Degree Transfer Program and many more.

The SAM programme is a pre-university matriculation course equivalent to Year 12 of education in Australia.

It is administered by the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia (SSABSA).

Last year, SAM students showed an impressive passing rate of 100 per cent.

An average TER of 78.8 was achieved by students in the same year and 100 per cent obtained the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

INTI-UC is proud to be the largest centre offering SAM in the southern region of Malaysia.

The ACCA course is a combination of study and practical experience, designed to build knowledge in accountancy, IT and management.

Since 2003, INTI-UC has an average record of 80 per cent and above passing rate by its students in ACCA.

This success can be attributed to the close interaction between students and lecturers in classes where the average student-to- lecturer ratio is 35:1.

The AUP Centre at Inti is the first and only education institution to receive the Certificate of Appreciation for Achievement in Trade awarded by the US Department of Commerce for sending the largest number of students sent to the United States since 1987.

It is also the only institution that received RM2.6 million worth of scholarships from US universities in 2007.

Exclusive scholarships from 20 US universities are also available to Inti students.

Since 1991, Inti has awarded scholarships worth over RM80 million to Inti students pursuing their degrees locally and abroad.

Students have benefited greatly from INTI-UC’s emphasis on holistic education that focuses on academic achievements, leadership qualities and social responsibilities through active participation in clubs and societies, community services and sports activities.

The INTI-UC campus is carefully planned to provide an exciting learning and living environment.

Students will find INTI-UC’s vibrant campus life invigorating with its excellent recreational facilities, rich cultural diversity, and numerous clubs and societies.

INTI-UC is positive this will facilitate the development of a global outlook to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
