Inspectors Offer Lots of Praise

GOOD teachers, an excellent start in reception and an outstanding curriculum ensure that pupils achieve well.

That was the verdict of an Office for Standards in Education inspector who visited Clifton-upon-Dunsmore Primary School in February.

The inspectors highlighted above average standards among 10- and 11-year-olds in year six and the positive atmosphere throughout the school. Their report heaps praise on pupils, saying they are enthusiastic and behave well. It also praises teachingassistants for their valuable contribution to learning.
