Merger to Create New Prep School
July 5, 2008
Two long-established independent schools have announced they are merging to create a preparatory school for more than 200 pupils.
Rose Hill School in Alderley, near Wotton-under-Edge, will join Querns Westonbirt, which is the junior campus of the senior Westonbirt School.
The new school will be called Rose Hill Westonbirt and will eventually be based at the Westonbirt site, opposite Westonbirt Arboretum.
Rose Hill pupils will make the move next year. Until then the two schools will continue on their separate sites.
The new day school will accept boys and girls up to the age of 13.
