We Will Celebrate a Day of Diversity
July 9, 2008
Bilingual pupils from eight Gloucestershire secondary schools had a fantastic time at a citizenship day.
The event, at Dean Close School, Chelten- ham, brought 50 youngsters from all over the world together to celebrate language and diversity while helping to teach them how to support each other.
Dee Russell-Thomas, from the race equality and diversity service at The Hucclecote Centre, Churchdown, helped organise the event.
She said: “This truly was a day of friendship, respect and partnership.”
The pupils enjoyed drawing and badge making.
