Occupation: Director of Education Services and Support, Allegheny Intermediate Unit and special liaison for Duquesne City School District, a distressed school district that has operated under a board of control for eight years.

Background: Art therapist at Three Rivers Youth; special education teacher at Pressley Ridge School and supervisor and director of the Rehabilitation Institute and D.T. Watson Institute. Named principal of the Pathfinder School in 1997; promoted to current position in 2004.

Noteworthy: Recently received the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units Gary Miller Memorial Award for service to the Duquesne City School District.
