The Narragansett Number One Foundation funded a grant written by the Maine School Administrative District 6 elementary school librarians to supply grade four and five students with access to new, high-quality paperback books.
Students in each classroom kept records of the books they’d read and those books were later distributed to the students as prizes, along with an ice cream treat.
