FUTURISTIC new images have emerged of Knowsley’s plans to revamp their secondary schools.
Instead of traditional class-rooms, pupils will congregate at ‘learning bases’ and, elsewhere, terraces will allow teachers to take classes outside.
However, it is important to remember the importance of old- fashioned things, like good teaching and producing youngsters with responsible attitudes.
There is more to improving schools than just glossy new facades – although the new centres will undoubtedly be a step in the right direction.
