Position: The new Wood-Ridge school business administrator started Sept. 1. Seery, whose one-year contract runs to Aug. 31, will be paid $100,000 for the school year.

Q. What are the challenges for the school in the future?

Working with the mandates [in funding] from the state and the potential in population growth. (A large housing development that will alter the borough’s population is under construction).

Education: St. John’s University, bachelor’s degree. Pace University, graduate courses.

Background: Hackensack: school business administrator, 2 1/2 years; Harrington Park: school administrator for 13 years. Former regional vice president of the Bank of New York.
