Imagine Schools at West Melbourne Dedication Ceremony Celebrates the Arrival of Brevard County’s Newest School
Imagine Schools, the largest and fastest growing charter school organization in the nation, will dedicate its new 44 classroom, 42,626 square foot K-8 School in Brevard County on Friday, November 7th at 8:30 a.m. At a time when funding cuts in education are limiting public educational resources, the non-profit organization built this new $10 million facility at no cost to the taxpayer. The dedication ceremony will take place on campus, one block north of Wal*Mart at the intersection of Imagine Way and Hollywood Boulevard, at 4101 Hollywood Blvd., West Melbourne, FL 32904.
Imagine Schools CEO and Founder Dennis Bakke will dedicate the school, while Deputy Mayor for the City of West Melbourne John D'Amico and Governing Board Member Richard Blake will welcome Imagine Schools and Principal Thomas Cole to the community. Imagine's unique educational environment provides a private school quality education for any student that wishes to attend, and gives the parents of Brevard County another choice. West Melbourne was instrumental in bringing this option to families, and the city continues to work in partnership with Imagine Schools every step of the way.
This state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility utilizes the latest technologies and tools such as wireless, smart boards and LCD TV to create an environment that encourages and enhances the educational experience. The building's prime location, architectural style, residential feel, large windows, beautiful landscaping, secure campus and scholastically focused floor-plan have all been employed to maximize effective learning and create a new standard in education.
