Texas Christian University Lifts Ban on Travel to Europe

Jul. 9--FORT WORTH -- A ban on official travel to Europe by professors and students of Texas Christian University was lifted Friday. The ban was imposed Thursday after the terrorist attacks in London.
TCU spokeswoman Shawn Kornegay said a group from TCU's Neely School of Business was to leave for London on Friday evening as previously scheduled.
More than two dozen students and a handful of professors from TCU were in London at the time of the attacks, but all were reported safe.
Kornegay said some of the students were scheduled to return Friday and today as one semester ended Thursday.
