Board OKs '06 Budget

Jul. 29--The Phenix City Board of Education approved its fiscal 2006 budget Thursday night during its monthly meeting at the Educational Services Building.
The $45.8 million budget is a 4.3 percent increase over the $43.7 million fiscal 2005 budget, said Suzy Ruth, the school board's treasurer. will come from the system's general fund.
