The Montana Department of Fish Wildlife & Parks now offers a new ATV safety education course on the Internet, through ATVCourse.com. This online course, developed by Fresh Air Educators, Inc. features a narrated and interactive study guide, as well as visual exam and quiz questions. In Montana, all persons between the ages of 11 through 17 are required to complete an approved ATV Safety Course to ride any ATV or Off Highway Vehicle on public land in the state.

With the rise in the number of registered OHVs in Montana also comes the need for continuing education for safe and responsible operation. The ATVCourse.com comprehensive online course and study guide provides students with information covering a wide range of general topics from basic operation to riding safety and also includes state-specific information such as registration and licensing regulations and legal operation in Montana.

“We commend Montana FWP for moving their ATV safety education program to an online environment,” says Kerry Moher, V.P. of Business Development with Fresh Air Educators. “We’re thrilled to now provide students with the opportunity to obtain an ATV Safety Certificate online.”

In order to ensure a greater level of student participation and retention, the online ATV safety course is made to cater to all learning styles. The course and exam questions contain hundreds of detailed illustrations, as well as narrated course content and interactive exercises.

“Every student, whether they’re a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner, will get something out of this course.” Adds Moher, “The professionally narrated course, along with the interactive elements and the visual exam questions are unmatched. In the end, 98% of all our students would recommend our courses to friends or family.”

The Montana ATV safety course online has a one-time fee of $29.95, which includes the course, chapter quizzes and unlimited attempts at the final ATV safety certification exam for Montana. The course is also available to anyone as a free study guide. For more information on outdoor education courses provided by Fresh Air Educators, visit FreshAirEducators.com.
