Assembly begins Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week came to a head Oct. 21 at Bandini Street Elementary School with an assembly. The school’s 430 students had signed a banner pledging they would stay away from drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
At the assembly, a police officer spoke about the dangers of the substances; student leaders also gave speeches.
The banner will remain on display in the school’s auditorium.
