Bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell will speak at the Hamline University of School Law Dean's Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 5. He is the author of two New York Times #1 bestsellers-The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference, and Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking. An expert in trend and intuition theory, Gladwell recently was named as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People by Time magazine.
The Hamline University School of Law Dean's Dinner traditionally has been an opportunity to celebrate the school's legal history and its impact on the community. Under the direction of Hamline University School of Law Dean Jon Garon, the Dean's Dinner features a nationally recognized speaker. Gladwell is a staff writer for the New Yorker magazine and formerly was a reporter for the Washington Post. He also has been nominated for a National Magazine Award.
