Water Main Break Forces Tyler Middle School to Close for Day
Posted on: Friday, 4 November 2005, 00:00 CST
A water main break forced county school officials to close Tyler Middle School today.
Ed Durham, a vice principal at the middle school, said custodians and a special education specialist noticed the break early this morning.
Water company crews told Durham and other administrators that it would take close to six hours before the main would be fixed, forcing them to close the school for the day.
School will be in session Thursday, school officials said.
