Dan Davids, President of The History Channel - USA to Receive 2005 Alumni Achievement Award of Pace University Lubin School of Business at a Luncheon Friday, December 2

NEW YORK, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Dan Davids, President of The History Channel-USA, will receive the 2005 Alumni Achievement Award of Pace University's Lubin School of Business. Proceeds from this annual awards luncheon, which will be on held Friday, December 2, 2005, at One Chase Plaza, will benefit the Lubin Alumni Scholarship Fund.

Each year Pace's Lubin School recognizes an alumnus for outstanding leadership, professional achievement and demonstrated contributions in the areas of community service and social responsibility. A steering committee comprised of representatives from the Lubin School faculty, alumni board and advisory board nominates alumni for this award. The proceeds from the luncheon provide scholarship support to students in the Lubin School of Business who demonstrate academic achievement and promise, financial need, leadership qualities, and civic responsibility.

Davids has distinguished himself in both his business career and his personal life.
