U.S.News & World Report Announces the 2007 Publication of America's Best Graduate Schools

WASHINGTON, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S.News & World Report today announced the publication of the 2007 edition of America's Best Graduate Schools, which hits newsstands on Monday, April 3, 2006. America's Best Graduate Schools is the most comprehensive guide to graduate school programs, detailing over 1,000 programs throughout the country. The guide also contains the exclusive rankings of graduate schools in categories such as business, law, medicine, engineering, and education. The rankings will also be available at http://www.usnews.com/ beginning at 12:01 AM ET on Friday, March 31. More searchable data on the rankings and schools is available online.
Noted changes in the rankings include: * In law school rankings - Harvard University dropped to third place behind Yale University and Stanford University respectively. Harvard placed second last year in the rankings. * In education programs - Teachers College, Columbia University rose to second place after placing fourth last year. * In medical school rankings - Washington University in St. Louis dropped to fourth and University of Pennsylvania moved up to third in the rankings.
