May 10--Daisha Vance's dream bike will become a reality.
The Spanaway resident entered a Scholastic Book Clubs contest that asked kids in kindergarten and first grade to draw their dream bikes. The contest was inspired by Freddy Thresher, a character in "Yikes! Bikes!," part of a book series by Abby Klein.
Vance was one of 25 winners selected from nearly 1,000 who entered. She gets $200 toward the bike of her choice.
