D.C. Public Schools Partners With SchoolNet to Accelerate Student Progress

NEW YORK, May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- SchoolNet, Inc., the nation's leader in Instructional Management Solutions (IMS), today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), one of the 50 largest school districts in the nation. The new partnership builds on SchoolNet's record growth success with large districts making strategic investments to utilize high-impact technology to impact education reform.

DC Public Schools is over 200 years old and serves approximately 59,000 students in 147 school buildings. It is a diverse district, in the nation's capitol, of students that speak more than 100 languages and represent 135 countries. SchoolNet will assist DCPS with achieving their goals of providing all students with outstanding education as well as being among the first major school districts to eliminate the achievement gaps among all subgroups of its student population.
