Local School Among Top 5 Percent in U.S.

Jun. 2--Socastee High School students can bask in the news of attending a school among the top 5 percent of public high schools in the United States according to Newsweek magazine.
The school was among the top 1,200 schools in the ranking, which is based a ratio based on the number of Advanced Placement and/or International Baccalaureate tests taken by all students in the school.
