New York City, Philadelphia and Miami-Dade County School Districts Select Apangea Learning's SmartHelp

BLAIRSVILLE, Pa., July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Apangea Learning, an educational support company that provides cost-effective differentiated instruction, today announced that the New York City, Philadelphia and Miami-Dade County school districts will use SmartHelp. Together, the three districts represent more than 3,000 new student users of SmartHelp. At just $1-2 per tutoring hour, SmartHelp is a proven method of reaching students through artificial-intelligence-driven tutoring plus one-on-one live human tutoring over the Internet.

New York City will launch a school year program at select schools within Regions 4 and 10, focusing on those students who need help in mathematics. The Philadelphia summer program will assist those students who have struggled with the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) Mathematics test and other math academic achievement milestones. The Miami-Dade County implementation of SmartHelp is geared toward students who require remediation specific to standardized testing for math, with its learning pathway correlated to the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT).
