Fourteen delegates from China's esteemed Nanjing University of Finance and Economics met with faculty and administrators from C.W. Post's College of Management on July 31 to discuss possible collaboration between the two institutions of higher learning.
Nanjing is a leading university of finance, economics and business in China. The C.W. Post College of Management, based at Long Island University's C.W. Post Campus in Brookville, New York, offers bachelor's and master's business programs accredited by the elite AACSB International as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees in Health Care and Pulic Administration, Social Work and Criminal Justice.
According to Dr. Matthew Cordaro, acting dean of the C.W. Post College of Management, both universities hope to further internationalize their programs and broaden their students' world education by establishing joint degree programs, conducting joint research and exchanging faculty and students.
In the upcoming months both universities will be working on the details necessary for a formal agreement so that a program of collaboration in the business area could be launched as soon as possible.
