Jan. 12–Many area businesses closed for MLK Jr. holiday

A number of businesses and agencies will be closed in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday Monday.

–Federal offices: Closed.

–State offices: Closed.

–Brown County offices: Closed.

–Aberdeen city offices: Closed.

–Brown County Landfill: Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

–Aberdeen Catholic Schools: No classes, offices closed.

–Aberdeen public schools: No classes, offices are open.

–Aberdeen Christian School: No classes, offices closed.

–Trinity Lutheran School: No classes, offices closed.

–Northern State University: No classes, offices closed.

–Presentation College: No classes, some offices open.

–Dacotah Prairie Museum: Closed.

–Alexander Mitchell Library: Closed.

–Financial institutions: Call ahead.

–Lakewood Mall: Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

–Carmike Cinema 9: For show times, call (605) 229-6820.
