Many of us should be writing these lines on the chalkboard after school. We all claim that we want our children to learn better and achieve more, but how many of us are actually involved in supporting education? TeachR.org, a free site for teachers and parents, unifies entire communities to become more supportive of our teachers and our children's education. The mission of TeachR.org is to create more prestige for our schools and more respect for our teachers.
TeachR.org is sponsored by the nonprofit organization the Legacy Foundation and by Knowledge Gain Learning Systems. These two organizations have created TeachR.org to provide unprecedented cooperation with and support for teachers and the educational process. Features available on TeachR.org include:
a system of creating, customizing, and sharing lesson plans around the country,
212 interactive reading, writing and math activities for all learning styles, especially ADD and ADHD students,
professional solutions for emotional, learning, social and achievement problems,
and an unmatched method of improving communication and interaction between teachers and parents.
"TeachR.org offers new teachers unique opportunities to find lesson plans and resources posted from experienced teachers," stated Dr. Lynn Scoresby, director of TeachR.org and educational trainer for more than 30 years. "Teachers and parents can find solutions to behavioral and learning problems that can disrupt learning. Even more important, perhaps, TeachR.org makes it easy for parents to be more involved with education and their children's performance in the classroom--even to the point of being able to print from home lost or forgotten homework."
Dr. Scoresby has written over 20 books and numerous training programs for schools and families. He has trained thousands of teachers across the United States on how to control misbehavior and improve student learning and achievement. He has been interviewed on MSNBC, and he will provide your patrons with information that will make their teaching and parenting experiences more effective and rewarding. To schedule an interview with Dr. Scoresby, call Loretta Anderson at 801-225-4066.
