World-Class Math & Science Academy to Be Announced in West Humboldt Park

WHAT: Announcement of a new math and science high school campus to be operated by Noble Street Network of Charter Schools in West Humboldt Park.

WHEN: Thursday, February 8, 11:00 a.m.

WHERE: 3645 W. Chicago Avenue, West Humboldt Park

WHY: Academy will provide students in one of the city's most diverse communities with access to the type of education needed to compete and succeed in the local, national and international market of the 21st century. Students will spend one additional month per year in school and receive about 33 percent more reading and math instruction than traditional public schools.
