Columbia Business School Names Kelley Blanco Assistant Dean for Executive MBA Programs

NEW YORK, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenn Hubbard, Dean and Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School, has announced the appointment of Kelley Blanco as Assistant Dean for Executive MBA Programs at the School, effective March 12, 2007. Ms. Blanco moves into her new role from the School's department of External Relations and Development, where she served most recently as Director of Development. She will report to Ethan Hanabury, Associate Dean of Executive MBA Programs at Columbia Business School.
"Kelley has been a tremendous asset to Columbia Business School during her 9 years of service with our External Relations and Development team," said Mr. Hanabury. "As Director of Development, she has demonstrated strong leadership abilities in her oversight of numerous successful development campaigns. Ms. Blanco will assume responsibility for academic planning and faculty staffing, financial services, and operations of all EMBA programs. She will also work with academic issues, policies and services relating to EMBA students.
Ms. Blanco succeeds Troy Eggers as Assistant Dean for Executive MBA Programs at Columbia Business School.
