Apr. 12–Colorado State University-Pueblo will host a campus visit and interviews today with the second of three finalists for the dean of the Hasan School of Business.

Michael Fronmueller, a professor of management at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., will be on campus today and Friday to participate in interviews with university and Pueblo community members.

Fronmueller will speak at an open forum at 9:45 a.m. today in the Cottonwood Room of the Occhiato University Center at CSU-Pueblo.

Fronmueller has been a professor at LeMoyne College since May. Prior to that, he served two years as the dean of the division of management at LeMoyne.

Under his leadership as dean, Fronmueller led the school through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation process. He also has served as a peer reviewer for the former and current AACSB standards.

The Hasan School of Business received the same accreditation in 2003.

Prior to his current position, Fronmueller was the dean of the College of Business and Economics and director of the Small Business Development Center at California State University-Northridge.

Fronmueller has served as the dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.

He has been the chairman of the department of management at Boise State University and taught at Washington State University-Pullman and Eastern Washington University.

Fronmueller has a master’s degree in business from Eastern Washington University and doctorate in strategic management from Washington State University.

The two other finalists for the dean’s position are Robert Hite, professor and dean of the School of Business at Emporia State University in Kansas, and M. Wayne Marr, dean and professor of business administration at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks.

Marr is scheduled to be on campus April 23. Hite visited the campus on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The new dean will replace Rex Fuller, who resigned at the end of October to become dean of the College of Business and Public Administration at Eastern Washington University.
