OKC University Offers Financial Planning Program

The Financial Planning Program at Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business is enrolling students for its next certified financial planner preparation class.

The program is registered with the CFP Board of Standards Inc. and prepares students for the CFP certification examination through five courses offered in 10-week cycles.

Classes are open to students and professionals with a bachelor’s degree in business or those with a non-business bachelor’s degree plus two years of personal financial planning related work experience.

Classes will be held in the Meinders School of Business on the OCU campus from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Monday from May 21 through July 23.

The May class is Investments Management and Planning. Tuition for each 10-week course is $695 plus the cost of books.
