New Home Connect (TM) Feature Enhances Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis., July 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Renaissance Learning, Inc. announced today the introduction of Home Connect for Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math. Home Connect will improve school-to-home communication by allowing students and parents to log in from any computer and view the student's progress and growth in reading and math, and students will be able to practice their math from home. Home Connect will be bundled free with the Enterprise versions of Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math.

Accelerated Reader & Home Connect
Parents will be able to receive email notification of books their child reads. Parents and students will be able to view student progress toward reading goals, including books read, grade level of books, comprehension percent and vocabulary words learned. They will also have the ability to access a new and improved version of Accelerated Reader BookFinder to search for books by author, subject, or grade level.
Accelerated Math& Home Connect
Parents will be able to receive email notification when their child completes a math assignment. Parents and students will have the ability to review the number of Accelerated Math objectives mastered, and students will be able to print out and score their Accelerated Math practice assignments at home. Students will also be able to develop their computational fluency by using MathFacts in a Flash at home.
Home Connect will be available in the March 2008 Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math Enterprise release.
